Christmas in Tunghai has always been one of the most romantic and popular festive attractions in Taiwan. Christmas decorations that dressed up the entire campus, festive Christmas carnival, music performances and creativity markets, Christmas spirits completely embraced the campus.
This year’s Christmas theme was “Christmas Decoding.” Activities and light arts had started days before. In front of the Luce Chapel, a Christmas tree made of piles of gift boxes stood gracefully. The Chaplain’s Office designed the Christmas wonderland based on the origin story of Christmas.

The silent campus grew even more beautiful as the night fell. Students organized many special activities, including the creativity market, Christmas rock music performance, DJ dance floor party, and a concert. Additionally, the Department of Industrial Design held an art and creativity exhibition while many other departments held their own Christmas dancing parties. Students dressed up as moose, snowmen, and Santa Claus strolled around the campus.

In the Luce Chapel was the midnight worship. Outside on the grass, people gathered and sat together, enjoying the festive and magical atmosphere. As the peak of the concert came, students’ screaming and cheering brought the night to its full liveliness.
