On campus dormitories
The on campus residential fee for one semester is NT. 8,700~12,700. The main number for on campus residential housing is 04-2359-4359, followed by your room’s extension. The room style is a dorm room shared by 4 students. And, the room is furnished with basic furniture, such as beds, desks, closets, bookshelves and chairs. Each room is equipped with internet access. There are public showers and bathrooms and coin operated laundry machines are available in each dormitory hall. Also, each dorm has public living areas. Also, there are convenience stores located nearby each on campus housing hall. Each room is equipped with internet access. And for security reasons, male students are forbidden to visit and enter the girls’dormitories. However, if help is needed, students may consult the OIR for assistance. If exchange or foreign students would like to check out the on campus dormitory housing and wish to live off campus, please make sure to inform the OIR to confirm their checking out requests.
Library
Opening hours: 8 AM till 9:30 PM. The libraries are closed during national holidays. Notices will be posted for opening hours during the winter and summer breaks. Students can access the library by swiping their student IDs. Guests may apply for a temporary guest pass to enter the libraries. Exchange and foreign students must return their checked out books and items back to the libraries during their checkout procedure prior to their departure. The Computer Center
Computer Center is located in the basement on the Science and Technology Building. A branch office may also be found in the Management Building in the secondary campus. Services of computer center are on duty from 8:00 to 22:10 on academic workdays, and also available on the workdays from 8:00 to 16:00 during Winter and Summer Break. On-line emergency service request may be served during national holidays. There are 8 computer labs with 550 personal computers installed dedicated software for academic courses. Labs are open for students unless they are reserved by teachers. There are 4 computer labs in the ST building, such as ST019, ST020, ST021, and ST023. Another 4 computer labs located on the Management Building are titled as M023, M024, M025, and M007. Please call us for help on this number: 866-4-2359-0121 ext. 30220. Mega Bank
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to Noon Location: the on campus branch of the Mega bank is located below the Garden Cafeteria. The on campus bank offers services such as opening bank accounts, withdrawals and wiring services. To contact the Mega Bank, please dial: 886-4-23500626

Health Center
Opening Hours: 8am to 5pm. During term time, we have nurse practitioners who can provide nursing care, and if you have a minor cut or sprain, you can visit the health center for wound care. However, if urgent care is required, please visit the Veterans Hospital located across from our university.
Alumni Association and the Alumni House
Comfortable on campus accommodations for visiting parents and alumni are provided by the on campus Alumni House. Both telephone or in person reservations are accepted. To contact the Alumni House, please dial: 886-4-23592134.
Students’ Extracurricular Clubs and Associations

Buses
There are several bus stops in front of the front entrance of the university. Students may take the various bus routes to get to downtown Taichung. Downtown Taichung and the Taichung train station. The bus fare depends on the distance of your ride. The bus fare varies from NT22 to NT32. If assistance is needed, passengers may inform the bus drivers the name of the desired bus stop, so that the bus driver could remind the passengers when they’ve arrived at the desired destinations.
