Network Services
The Tunghai University campus and student dormitory networks are established to provide a secure, stable, and efficient online environment that supports the university community in teaching, research, administration, and learning. Both the campus and dormitory networks serve as essential infrastructure for academic development, facilitating communication and knowledge sharing among faculty and students, enhancing administrative efficiency, and promoting the university’s progress toward digitalization and smart campus initiatives.
All users, including faculty, staff, and students, must comply with the “Tunghai University Campus Network Usage Regulations” and relevant laws. Individuals or departments should use the network responsibly and with integrity, maintaining proper online conduct. Any illegal activities—such as downloading, distributing, or using unauthorized software, music, videos, or other copyrighted materials—are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in disciplinary actions within the university and could also lead to legal consequences.
In addition, users should avoid excessive bandwidth usage, disruptive behavior, or any actions that may compromise network stability. Cooperation with the university’s information security measures is required to maintain a safe and fair network environment. Tunghai University encourages all members to use the campus and dormitory networks properly, ensuring they remain vital platforms that support innovation in teaching, advancement in research, and enriched learning experiences.
