Four major topics were discussed in the meeting, namely, deepening the cooperation in teaching, research and double majors, EMI promotion, AI and smart medical care, and university world rankings. Considering cross domain learning as a major trend, the two universities began to utilize each other for dual majors in 2018, attracting many students to participate in such cooperation. Those students not only strengthened in their own majors, but also expanded the domain of expertise and created more opportunities for future career planning. Based on the success to-date, cooperation on modular courses offered by instructors from the two universities is considered feasible in a near future.
