Tunghai University-News--Tunghai University Deepens International Cooperation with European Partner TUKE
President of Tunghai University, Mao-Jiun Wang, and Rector of Technical University of Košice, Dr. hc prof. hc prof. Ing. Stanislav Kmeť, completed the signing of a partnership agreement through email exchanges in June 2021. The agreement makes a proud addition to the list of over 20 partner institutions in Europe for Tunghai University. The cooperation between the two universities will include student exchanges, joint research, and cultural exchanges.
Established in 1952, the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) is the second largest university of technology and one of the largest universities in Slovakia. TUKE offers a wide range of advanced education not only in the East-Slovak region, but throughout Slovakia and Central Europe. In many specializations, it is the only center of science, research and education in this area. The purpose of TUKE was to provide a scientific and technological knowledge base, innovation and labor force, to promote a sustainable future and quality life, and to fulfill long-term education goals through innovative research and cooperation with outstanding educators from all over the world.
