Tunghai University, Fujitsu Cloud Technologies Ltd., and Fujitsu Taiwan will jointly develop an IoT mobile BaaS platform integrating NIFCLOUD mobile backend. Taking Tunghai as brand-name, the joint work will include cloud monitoring on agricultural data and integration/application of mobile end and IoT on a big data platform. Through joint lectures by the academia and the industry, an innovative operation model based on Fujitsu cloud platform expects to create a live example of industry-academia collaboration.
The agreement was signed by Fujitsu Cloud Technologies Limited President Yoshimasa Aikawa, Fujitsu Taiwan Chairman & President Yuguchi Akashi, and Tunghai University President Professor Mao-Jiun Wang. President Wang shared Tunghai’s efforts in digital education, such as cooperating with Amazon AWS in creating the Tunghai Cloud Innovation School, setting up the Digital Innovation Center, and mandating the AI Center in integrating cross-departmental curricula with the Cloud Innovation School and to work on industrial projects. President Wang further praised Fujitsu for its distinguished performance in Agriculture Cloud which brings together technologies and system that could also apply to the development of Tunghai intelligent farm.
