On October 25, Mr. Shih-Ping Li, secretary of the Department of Education, along with Mr. Huỳnh Việt Hùng, Representative of the Ministry of Education of Vietnam, and presidents and vice presidents from 18 different Vietnamese High Schools visited Tunghai University and were welcomed by Mr. Li-Chin Wang, vice president of Tunghai University, Ms.Zhi-Yun Wu, leader of the International Student Affairs of the Office of International Relations, Ms. Mei-Hui Liu, director of the Chinese Language Center; and Mr. Xing-Guan Zhao, assistant professor of the Graduate Institute of Education.

In the opening speech, Mr. Li-Chin Wang gave thanks to the Department of Education for arranging this opportunity for the guests from Vietnam to visit and know more about Tunghai University,He also thanked the guests for coming and hoping that there will be more cooperation and connection between Vietnam high schools and Tunghai University. He then introduced the advantages and features of Tunghai University and welcomed Vietnamese students to come study here.

Tunghai University then had Ms. Zhi-Yun Wu, leader of International Students Affair of Office of International Relations, to give a brief overview on the state of affairs of Vietnam students in THU while Ms. Mei-Hui Liu, director of the Chinese Lauguage Center, shared about the Chinese classes in the Center. Mr. Xing-Guan Zhao, assistant professor of the Graduate Institute of Education, was also invited to attend. The Office of International Relations also invited five Vietnamese students who are enrolled in Tunghai University to share their experiences while studying in Tunghai University. Time for question and answer was also arranged for the guests to learn more about Tunghai University.
