During Augest 21 to 23, 2017, Dean Wen-De Chiang of the College of Agriculture led Director Chuan-Liang Hsu of the Department of Food Science, Director Kuei-I Lee of the Department of Hospitality Management, and master students to visit Tunghai’s sister university, Tottori University, in Japan.
Since 2012, Tottori University has been Tunghai’s sister university for five years. To enhance the globalization of the College of Agriculture, Dean Chiang has increased the frequency of academic exchange between the two universities. In March 2017, Tottori University visited Tunghai’s Department of Food Science and the Tunghai farm while participating in an all-English academic conference. As teachers and students both benefited greatly from these exchanges, this summer, Vice President Yamaguchi and Dean Tamura of the College of Agriculture of Tottori University invited Tunghai’s College of Agriculture to visit the school and industry in Japan.
