THU outstanding alumnus Mr. Kuo Chou Tsai was awarded with honorary doctorate on biomedical engineering by National Technical University of Ukraine (NTUU). The awarding ceremony was held in Feng-Chia University in April. Mr. Viktor Kamaiev, vice president of NTUU represented in the ceremony to award the 5 awardees - Mr. Kuo Chou TSAI, Mr. Tzu Lin LO, Mr. Hua CHI, Dr. Hans C. CHANG and Mr. Chih-Min CHI, the awards were given for their contribution to the establishment of the “Ukraine-Taiwan Initiative Organization (UTIO)” and for promoting the economic and culture development for between Taiwan and Ukraine.

Outstanding Alumnus Awarded Honorary Doctorate By National Technical University of Ukraine

THU President Dr. Mao-Jiun Wang attended the celebration dinner event and congratulated the 5 awardees for their achievements. Dr. Wang especially mentioned about Mr. Kuo Chou TSAI is the honor and role model of Tunghai people. Mr. Kuo Chou TSAI built up his own business from zero. Today, he has made significant achievement in business management and is a great supporter to the higher education in Taiwan.
