Liao Min-Hsun, Vice President for International Relations at Tunghai University, noted that Taiwan offers strong advantages, including accessible higher education, an open and diverse society, and globally competitive high-tech industries such as semiconductors and healthcare—making it an attractive destination for international talent.
Liao further emphasized that, beyond strengthening academic training, Tunghai University continues to deepen academia-industry collaboration. By incorporating industry professionals into teaching and offering interdisciplinary elective courses, students are able to understand industry demands during their studies and bridge the gap between learning and practice. She also highlighted the university’s geographical advantage: its proximity to the Central Taiwan Science Park and Taichung Industrial Park provides students with direct exposure to cutting-edge sectors such as smart healthcare, precision machinery, and high-tech industries, offering excellent opportunities for internships and employment.

The Office of International Affairs also arranged AI-powered resume writing and interview strategy courses, with one-on-one guidance from HR professionals and career consultants. These efforts help international students refine their resumes, improve interview performance, and gain deeper insights into Taiwan’s workplace culture.
