The promotion of international education goes beyond studying. It also aims to guide students in discovering their creative thinking and potentials through diverse cultural courses. Since 2021, Tunghai International College has been collaborating with the Consortium for Study Abroad in Taiwan (CSAT) of the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan) on this program. This collaboration not only continues carrying the pioneering spirit and liberal arts education values of Tunghai University but also combines the vision of promoting peace and rationality through the Fulbright Program, creating a more exciting and broader interdisciplinary learning experience.

The "2023 Mini-Semester International Study" program covers a wide range of topics, such as photography and image production, the power games of Confucianism, from desire to life: Taiwan's film development, women issues, contemporary music, Taiwanese tea culture, forward-looking AI technology, digital currency, and blockchain discussions. These will lead the Taiwanese and American students participating in this program to engage in multidimensional learning. The local International College students will not only take courses taught by American university professors but also learn from American students, enhancing their language communication skills and expanding their international perspectives.
According to the Dean of Tunghai University International College, James Sims, the program this year provides students from Tunghai and America with the opportunity to learn from each other, also allowing Taiwan students to take courses taught by American university professors while improving their language communication skills and broadening international perspectives through interactions with American students. Through the discussions and participation in multicultural workshops, local students enhance their cultural identification and American students gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance and values of Taiwan.
