Tunghai University Ranks Third in Annual USR Survey, Top in Environmental Sustainability

For the second year in a row, the Commonwealth Magazine conducted a survey on USR achievements. Different from the one done by the Ministry of Education, the survey takes on a CSR framework and assesses university operations from the perspectives of various stakeholders. Universities in Taiwan are comprehensively reviewed from four aspects - university governance, social engagement, teaching commitment, and environmental sustainability.
Congratulations to Tunghai University for ranking third in the overall survey and first in "Environmental Sustainability" among all private universities. Other than ranking first in "Environmental Sustainability", Tunghai also scored high for "Social Participation". Tunghai University is highly recognized for its achievements in teaching, research, industrial cooperation, service and social practice in maintaining both a sustainable environment and a sustainable society.
