Tunghai University Team up with Taichung Veterans General Hospital and Taiwan AI Academy on AI in Healthcare and Medicine

Artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare and medicine is Taiwan’s next aim. Three institutions, Tunghai University, Taichung Veterans General Hospital and Taiwan AI Academy team up and founded the Smart He develop community. We integrate medical data, healthcare domain expertise, AI technology and computational resources. In the Signing Ceremony on January 11th, 2019, Tunghai University President Mao-Jiun Wang, Taichung Veterans General Hospital Superintendent Xu Hui Heng and Taiwan AI Academy CEO Sheng Wei Chen signed the contract. The content of contract includes talent cultivation, research and development, clinical application and health care. Right after was the grand opening of the Tunghai University Cloud Innovation School and Cloud Innovation Center. We hope to have a major breakthrough in medical quality, national healthcare and the industry of medical equipment manufacturing.
