Tunghai University ranked 15th place in the Red Dot award from universities in Asia Pacific and the top 5 universities in Taiwan. The university’s Department of Industrial Design has won 9 design awards since 2013, and 2 of them were Best of the Best award. The Red Dot is the international award for high design quality. The result of the Red Dot design ranking proves that the faculty members, alumnus and students in the Department of Industrial Design is excellent in creativity, Innovation, and pioneer. In the future, Tunghai University keep focusing on interdisciplinary and allying with corporations in the industry in order to provide detail solutions of social issues.
