NTUU was founded in 1898 as one of the oldest and most famous universities in the world. Vice President Kamaiev indicated that NTUU has educated many famous scientists in the history such as E.O. Paton who invented the electric welding technology and Igor I. Sikorsky who designed and flew the world’s first multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft. In order to bridge the gap between academic research and industrialization, a science park is established to commercialize the technology developed at NTUU. With a total of 20,000 students, including international students from 50 different countries, NTUU has more than 5,000 faculty members.

Vibrant exchange of viewpoints on academic collaboration, the connection between education and industries, and increase of student international mobility resulted in a highly fruitful meeting. Through sharing of ideas and opinions, both universities have a deeper understanding of each other and would hopefully develop into a cooperation relationship in the near future.
