Tunghai University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wesleyan College on July 22 of 2021 to promote international education between Taiwan and the United States. The event was also attended by the representatives from Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta to celebrate this important moment together.

After President Wang introduced the history of Tunghai University, President Vivia L. Fowler said in agreement that “… study abroad changes lives — we all know that —and for Wesleyan students, it is a transformative experience… We know that experiences like these will enhance their worldview and pay dividends for generations to come in international relations.”
Director-General Wang also expressed his joy in encouraging this ceremony. He was also very positive about the prospective collaboration between the two institutions and would be happy to give his full support to promote higher education exchanges between Taiwan and the United States.
