Tunghai University-News--BPK Penabur, Indonesia visited Tunghai University
The delegation was hosted by Dean of International Office Prof. Hong Wei Yang, Chief Secretary of THU Affiliated Experimental High School Mr. Wen Pin Shi, Director of Placement and Alumni Office Dr. Chyuan Perng, Chairman of Department of Food Science Prof. WenDee Chiang, and THU outstanding alumnus Mr. Willy Yanto Wijaya. Volunteer THU students who came from Indonesia joined the hosting team to guide the visitors through the spacious Tunghai campus.
Many graduates from BPK education system had excellent performance while studying at the Department of Food Science in Tunghai University. Department Chair Prof. Sen Dee Chiang, together with three Indonesian students, demonstrated high tech facilities at teaching labs in the department. The food processing factory was introduced by Dr. Jhih-Ying Ciou, Dr. Yen-Hui Chen and teaching assistant Ms. Min-Chun Hung. BPK delegates were impressed by the diversification learning environment of Tunghai University.
During the following campus tour, Mr. Willy Yanto Wijaya shared his learning experiences in Tunghai University and the idea of Christian spirit for university founding. BPK delegates then visited the THU Affiliated Experimental High School. The visitors were amazed about the complete education system Tunghai University has to offer. Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. Liang-Kong Lin greeted the delegation before its departure and expressed the welcome for more BPK graduates to study in Tunghai University in the future.
