Moving toward the goal of becoming a future university, Tunghai University has launched the ‘Spotlight Project’ with its AI Technology Center to offer three courses in Smart Manufacturing, Resilient Design, and Net Zero Emission. These courses work with Chunghwa Telecom, who provides services in teacher training and planning and consultation in system transport to the cloud, and with Google to provide Google Cloud Computing Foundation (GCCF) course. The courses will incubate AI talents to facilitate industry digital transformation and ESG net zero emission.
A Tunghai delegation led by President Guo-En Chang and representatives of Chunghwa Telecom visited Google Taiwan. The three parties exchange ideas in two advanced Google courses, Cloud Digital Leader (CDL) and Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE). President Chang laid-out the roadmap to make Tunghai University the biggest AI park in central Taiwan with a three-stage plan in creating a intelligent sustainability campus, organizing sustainability training camps, and carbon reduction co-creation programs.
